FAQ's

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. Sessions are held via a secure video platform. This allows you to attend therapy from wherever you feel most comfortable. I work with clients across Ontario.

Are services covered by insurance?

Services are provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Many extended health plans include coverage for psychotherapy, but each plan is different. Check with your insurance provider to confirm whether they cover sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

What happens in the free consultation?

The 15‑minute consultation is a chance to meet, ask questions, and see if therapy with me feels like a good fit. You can share a bit about what’s been going on and what you’re hoping for. There’s no obligation to book sessions afterwards.

Do you work with parents or families?

My primary focus is working individually with teens, students, young adults, and adults. Parents are welcome to book a consultation if they have questions about whether therapy would be helpful for their child. Parent coaching may be offered in the future, but they are not currently available.

What does Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) mean?

Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) are fully registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and are completing the supervised practice hours required for independent registration. In practical terms, it means my work is reviewed by a senior psychotherapist — which many clients find adds a useful layer of support to their care.
